My second time Oding, plus an Ode close to home.

These Odes were photographed in Coconino County in the Kachina Area.  I visited Kachina Weltands as well as a small pond by the entrance to Kachina.  I added a few species to my small by growing life list of odes.  Thanks to Caleb Strand for helping me identify these odes.

Plain's Forktail (very abundant and the most common ode at these locations)

Pacific Forktail female (Thanks to Caleb Strand and Justin Jones for the ID)

Sooty Dancer

Blue-eyed Darner

Borthern Bluet (either Boreal or Northern Bluet, they can't be identified with certainty without extremely close examination)

Tonight, June 2nd, I stopped by a flooded field by my house when I saw a lot of larger odes flying over the field.  They turned out to be another new one, the Wandering Glider.  Wandering Glider is said to be the most widespread ode in the world  There were certainly a lot of them this evening.
